I’m so glad you’re here and I look forward to getting to know you and assisting you on your journey to know yourself better. My name is Jenn, and I am a lifelong learner who is dedicated to sharing what I’ve learned with my community.
My journey into the world of yoga began in 2012 when I began a yoga teacher training at Sun Moon Yoga after more than ten years of being a group exercise instructor. I could never have predicted then how the practice of yoga would change the trajectory of my life.
Since 2012 I have taken countless workshops/trainings to deepen my understanding of yoga, including completing Vesselify’s 300 hour advanced training in 2021. I also completed a 300 hour Ayurvedic Wellness Coach training through Shakti School with Katie Silcox in 2020. Vedic philosophy, Vedic astrology, Thai yoga massage, and holistic aromatherapy are other topics I’ve explored varying degrees of depth and continue to study.
I hold a M.S. in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, and my 25+ year career as a public school educator has provided me with many skills that allow me to convey complex information in a way that is accessible and meaningful. There is nothing I love more than leading an experience that inspires and allows people to feel a sense of balance, connection, and harmony with themselves, others, and nature.
Rooted in the traditional teachings of yoga, I approach the practice with a deep reverence for its transformative power to nurture the body, calm the mind, and awaken the spirit. Through a mindful blend of breath-centered movement, meditation, and philosophy, I guide students on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, encouraging them to cultivate awareness, presence, and self-love both on and off the mat.
